The Mayor's Cup Regatta and Festival is Plattsburgh's most time-honored and highly anticipated summer tradition on Lake Champlain. The four-day celebration includes the Boat Parade of Lights, 39th Annual Regatta, Post-Race BBQ and Award's Ceremony, as well as Live Music, Family Arts & Kid's Activities, a spectacular Fireworks display and so much more! The Mayor's Cup event in a 100% community funded event with support coming from many generous local businesses and organizations. The proceeds from benefit various community projects. |

Jumpin' in July is sponsored by the Plattsburgh (Noon) Rotary Club and the Sunrise Rotary Club. On Wednesday, July 27th, enjoy a fun night out with the Batz at the Strand Center! The Funky Batz, Dale Derusha, Pat Maddix, Jay Lesage, Dina Hurwitz and Craig Hurwitz will play all of your favorites! Be prepared to dance! A great opportunity to recruit new members! Show your Rotary pride and come to the Strand on the 27th. Make sure you sign-up while you are there because being at Jumpin' in July counts as a meeting make-up! And, if you like free outdoor music you might want to attend the Jumpin' in July concerts on July 13th and 20th. On the 13th, The Duo, Neil Wright and Johnny Seiden, will be bringing all your favorite tunes, a little bit jazz-country-rock - something for everyone!!! On the 20th, Good Lord the Liftin', a group of some of New England's heaviest hitters, will entertain you with some blues, jazz, funk, & soul!

Sunrise Summer Party at the Dahlens - 5PM

Celebrate summer in the North Country and enjoy time with your fellow Rotarians. Bring your family and don't forget your bathing suit. In addition to swimming - weather permitting, there will also be volleyball, croquet and possibly water skiing. Hot dogs, hamburgers, salads and cake will be served and beer, wine and soft drinks will be available as well. The picnic will be in lieu of our weekly breakfast meeting. The Sunrise Rotary Strategic Planning Session will take place on Tuesday, December 20th at TDC (190 Banker Road, Suite 500) from 3:30 - 5:00pm. All club members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Victoria Duley will facilitate the planning process and act as moderator for the upcoming session where we will begin to develop an action plan to support our strategic priorities. If you like strategic planning you won't want to miss this session! |
