Jim Snook is named "Rotarian of the Year" at Sunrise Rotary's Annual Dinner. Congratulate Jim on this well deserved award!

At the awards dinner, outgoing Sunrise President Kerry Taylor recognized Jim Snook as the 2016 “Sunrise Rotarian of the Year” for both his service to Sunrise Rotary and his commitment to volunteer service in the community.  The “Rotarian of the Year” is awarded to a member of the club that has lived up to Rotary’s objective to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise, and through their dedication and effort has exceeded the expectations of club membership through their commitment of time, energy and sacrifice. Kerry said that Jim is so deserving of this award because he is always behind the scenes putting his heart and soul into everything he does - and he does a lot for all of us. “He is a National Mortgage Lender which keeps him busy enough,” said Kerry, “but in addition to that he volunteers at the Town of Plattsburgh Recreation Department, is a member of the Red Cross Board of Directors, and an Elder at the First Presbyterian Church. Jim is President-Elect of the Sunrise Rotary Club and co-chairs the Sunrise membership committee.”
