Polio Month was a Success!

Rotary Clubs registered more than 3,400 World Polio Events in 102 countries at endpolio.org. That's twice as many events as last year!

 

Plattsburgh's Noon and Sunrise Rotary Clubs, along with the SUNY Rotaract Club, joined forces at the Champlain Centre Mall over the weekend of October 20, 2017. Every 15 minutes a different cyclist mounted the stationary bike donated for the event by Dick's Sporting Goods. In all, over $3,400 was raised -  and then doubled - by a matching grant courtesy of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation! Oh, Sunrise Rotarian, Joanne Dahlen, was honored with the 'Best Dressed' Award on the bike!
