Sunrise Rotary Pancake Day
When the sap started flowing and sugar shacks throughout New York's North Country began making syrup, it signaled the time for the Plattsburgh Sunrise Rotary Club's Pancake Day. This fundraiser drew hundreds of people on a Sunday morning to the Stafford Middle School cafeteria where Rotarians cheerfully made and served pancakes, sausage, eggs and more. Proceeds have been used to support the many projects funded by the Sunrise Rotary Club because of the surprising culinary and wait-staff skills of members.
