4 Plattsburgh Boats Finish in Top 10 in Mayor's Cup

PLATTSBURGH - Four Plattsburgh entries finished in the top 10, overall, in the 2005 Rotary Mayorís Cup Regatta.
Last Kid Picked, skippered by Alan Ouellette of Stowe, Vt., won the Mayorís Cup with five net points. He had the second-best time in the first race and the third-best for the second.
John Trombley, in Shakedown Street, was the top Plattsburgh sailor, coming in third after posting the fastest time in the second race. He also was the top finisher in the Soling fleet.
Two other Soling entries from Plattsburgh ó Tye Kretser and Dan Inhelder ó came in sixth and seventh after posting top-5 finishes in the second run.
Former Mayorís Cup champ Mike Parsons was eighth.
