Radio Day

Every year a group of Rotarians go out to local businesses and donors to get advertisements for Rotary to announce on the local Plattsburgh radio station WIRY. As our 2nd biggest fund raiser every Rotarian gets involved by getting at least one advertisement. This is a fun day where many Rotarians read the advertisements and help promote Rotary by letting people listening know what we do in the community and internationally. Together with the Plattsburgh Noon Rotary club we typically raise around $14,000, 10% of which goes to WIRY for allowing us to speak on the air.
