Tom DeFayette presented with the Paul Harris Fellow Award
Tom DeFayette was awarded Rotary's coveted Paul Harris Fellow Award, named after Rotary International's founder Paul Harris, at an end-of-the-year closing ceremony that took place on June 23, 2020.
Sunrise Rotarian Kathy Eppler felt it was an honor and a privilege to present the award to Tom. Kathy is a Past President (2005-2006), Rotarian of the Year Awardee (2015) and a Paul Harris Fellow Awardee herself in 2016 . Kathy said, "Tom not only follows Rotary’s 4-Way Test, but lives life by the motto “Service about Self”. Tom has lived in Africa as a Peace Corp volunteer, is very active and involved in Rotary’s international projects, youth exchange programs, Boy Scout Leader and more. Our club and communities locally and abroad are lucky to have an individual with such a passion for giving".
