Maxine Perry named Sunrise Rotary's 2020 Rotarian of the Year
Outgoing President Libby Quéguiner presented this year's Rotarian of the Year award to Maxine Perry. Below is a photograph of Maxine selling tickets for last year's Sunrise Rotary's Mayor's Cup Regatta BBQ.
According to Libby, "This person has helped every member of our group through her years of service. I know she has been a tremendous help to me this year. This Rotarian has been a member since January 2012. Not only is she an active member of our club, but she serves on countless committees and boards throughout Plattsburgh. She stepped up to be the person who coordinates and schedules all of the speakers for our weekly meetings. This is a massive job. The time it takes to get people to commit to coming to a 7:30 am meeting is astronomical. Maxine Perry excelled at this; we never had a meeting without a speaker scheduled!"
