Plattsburgh Power
Curt Gervich is Associate Professor of Environmental Science in the Center for Earth and
Environmental Science at SUNY Plattsburgh. He holds a Phd in Environmental Planning from Virginia
Tech, and a master’s degree in Natural Resource Planning from University of Vermont. He studies
municipal planning issues, particularly surrounding energy, food and water systems. He has co-authored
the following paper about the New York State Preference Power Program: Gervich, C., Pitt, D. (2014). The
Sustainability of Preference Power Allocations: an Exploration of the Niagara Preference Power Program through the

Jesse Feiler is an independent developer and author specializing in iOS apps for iPhone, iPad, and
tvOS. He is the author of a number of books for developers and end-users. Recent projects include a
book and app risk visualization tool for non-profit organizations. He is president of Champlain Arts Corp.
