As is customary, the outgoing Sunrise Rotary President selects and announces the Rotarian of the Year at the club's annual dinner. “Selecting Ann Csorny as the 2023 Rotarian of the Year was an easy decision for me to make,” said Eric McDowell
“Ann has been a Rotarian for only two years but made positive contributions immediately with her innovative ideas and creative solutions. And, she seems to be the first to raise her hand to volunteer for many if not most of our club projects. For the past two years Ann has been Sunrise Rotary team captain at the Relay for Life event and has been very active on the membership committee and assisting the club in the development of a new strategic plan.” Unfortunately, Ann was unable to attend the dinner, but the club expressed their thanks to Ann with a big round of applause after the announcement was made.
