For over two decades Sunrise Rotary has proudly provided financial support to the North Country Mission of Hope and club members have participated in numerous mission trips to provide humanitarian aid to Nicaragua. Yesterday, Sunrise Rotarians were delighted to personally present the North Country Mission of Hope with a $1,000 donation.
Executive Director Deacon James Carlin and Treasurer Kathy Eppler attended Sunrise Rotary’s weekly meeting to update our members on the Mission’s recent efforts to provide healthcare services and community development in Nicaragua and in the US - including hosting mission trips to rural Appalacia. Locally, in our region, the North Country Mission of Hope has created a home medical equipment loan program for those who might otherwise not be able to afford such assistance.
