Mayor's Cup Festival

The Mayor's Cup Festival returned to the City Beach on Saturday July 9, 2022!

The Mayor’s Cup Festival was held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Plattsburgh’s City Beach, the crown jewel of the Lake City, boasting one of the longest sandy beaches on freshwater in the U.S.

The one-day celebration kicked-off early with kayak rides and a 5K run/walk, and events were scheduled throughout the day for the whole family to enjoy including volleyball, sand sculpting, a cornhole tournament and much more. The band Damaged Goods performed live at the beach in the afternoon and Tammy’s Lunch Box  was onsite to add to the day’s festivities.
We hope that you were one of the hundreds of people who came out to enjoy this year's Mayor's Cup Festival.  However, in case you missed it, you might want to take a look at the calendar of events below. We hope to see you all at the Festival next year!
